Herbert Allen Owens, age 75, died peacefully at his home in Bowling Green, Ky.

Born in Corbin, Ky. on March 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Pleas and Sylvia Irene Owens. Herb was a HVAC tech but was better known for his time working in the automotive department at WalMart.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann Owens of Bowling Green, his daughter Lisa Winn (David) of Michigan, his sons, Tim Owens (Irene Wood) of Michigan and Kent Carter (Kim) of Scottsville, his brother Gary Owens (Joyce) of Indiana, seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday December 31, 2020 at the Cave Mill General Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky. from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon.

A graveside service will be held Friday January 1, 2021 at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, Ky. at 1:00 p.m. EST
