William Kenneth Lyle

September 9, 1914 - August 5, 2016

William Kenneth Lyle, age 101, died August 5, 2016 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.

The Allen County native, a WW II army veteran, was the husband of the late Eva Chlorene Shaw Lyle and the son of the late Samuel Lyle and Fannie Garrison Lyle.  Preceding him in death were four brothers, Paul, Jewel, Pearl, and Glen.  He was a mechanic and owned Lyle Radiator Repair for over 30 years.  He was a former member of Hickory Hill United Methodist Church and attended White Plains Free Methodist Church and Union Chapel United Methodist Church

He is survived by his three sons, David Leroy Lyle (Gypsy), of Tuson AZ, Donald Richard Lyle (Dottye), of Scottsville, and Larry Neal Lyle (Luis Miguel), of San Diego, CA, four grandchildren, William David Lyle, John Michael Lyle (Jennifer), Donald Clinton Lyle and Donna Beth Sexton (Jeff), and four great grandchildren, Mason Lyle, Kelsie Lyle, John Burx Sexton, and Levi Sexton.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Monday August 8, 2016 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday August 9, 2016 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
