Tammy Denise Rather

Tammy Denise Rather, age 67, died Sunday April 19, 2026 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Native to Scottsville, she was born January 23, 1959 in Glasgow, KY to the late Francis Yoehlee Rather and Rachel Frances Marr Rather. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Kenny Ragan and grandson Noah Bryce Carter.

She is survived by her daughter, Chrystal Oakes, two sons, Benjamin Carter (Angel) and Levi Carter (Tabitha), grandchildren; Haleigh (Mac), Ty-Hunter, Hayden, Britlee, River, Brylee and Zeke, step-grandchildren Emma and Abel, great-grandchildren; Brayleigh, Micah, Maddox, Kylen and Hallie, three sisters, Lynn Pedigo (Wendell Grissom), Sandy Garrison (Billy), and Vanessa Creek (Michael), all of Scottsville and brother Ricky Rather of Lafayette, TN.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 22, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 23, 2026 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Allen County Memorial Gardens.
