Orel Frank Meador, age 89, died Friday August 1, 2025 with his loving wife by his side.
A native of Allen County, Frank was the son of the late Orel Lee Meador and Bernice Clark Meador and was preceded in death by his brothers Larry Meador and Ronald Meador. He was a leader in the community serving in Rotary as a Paul Harris Fellow, Jaycees, owner operator of Western Auto, City Judge and retiring as Circuit Court Clerk. Serving the Lord he was a member of Scottsville Baptist Church. Family was very important, traveling with his wife and family and enjoying the lake and time on the houseboat.
He is survived by his wife Ruby F. Meador, his son Orel Steven Meador and his wife Karen, granddaughters, Stephanie Hood and her husband Bradley and Emily Hogan and her husband Chris, his great grandsons; Cannon and Cruz Hood and Wyatt and Xavier Hogan and his sister, June Perry.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday August 3, 2025 at T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at T. W. Crow & Son funeral home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
