In Memory of
Murle Francis Newbold Parrish
July 6, 1925 - October 13, 2015
Murle Francis Newbold Parrish, age 90, died Tuesday October 13, 2015 at the Golden Living Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Tn.
The Allen County native was the wife of the late Ray Parrish and the daughter of the late Oliver Newbold and Maggie Buttrum Newbold. She was preceded in death by her son Ricky Parrish.
Mrs. Parrish was a beloved member of the Holland Baptist Church, and lived every day as a Christian serving the Lord. She worked as a sitter for the elderly and was employed for over fifty years with T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home, not just an employee but as part of the family. She spent all of her life taking care of the farm she and her late husband Ray owned in Holland, Ky. They taught their late son Ricky a great work ethic and the value of family. They taught their granddaughter Tabatha that Jesus Christ is always the foundation to any great relationship, and the memories made on the farm were truly priceless. Mrs. Parrish had only one great granddaughter named Savannah and the two shared a special bond. Beautiful memories made on the farm, and the many church functions they shared together will live on forever.. Her memory will live on in everyone’s heart that had the pleasure of meeting this special lady.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Tabatha Bush and husband Brian, stationed in Florida with the United Stated Navy, her great granddaughter Savannah Rae Bush, her daughter in law Mary Jo Parrish of Tenn. and sister Avis Davis of In. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday October 20, 2015 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM Tuesday October 20, 2015 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Holland Church Cemetery.
