Scottsville

Michelle Ann JeuDevine, 63, of Scottsville, Kentucky, passed away on November 29, 2025. Born in North Hollywood, California, on June 25, 1962, Michelle lived a life shaped by compassion, creativity, and a generosity that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A devoted animal lover, Michelle spent countless hours involved in rescue work, especially TNR programs through Spay Neuter Allen County. Her home was never without several feline companions and at least one devoted dog, each one a reflection of her belief that every creature deserved safety, comfort, and love. Her kindness extended to people as readily as to animals; Michelle often opened her home to anyone in need of a temporary place to stay, offering warmth, stability, and a caring presence.

Michelle was also gifted in both crafting and cooking. Preparing Thanksgiving dinner for her niece was one of her greatest joys, simply because she knew how much it meant. Her home was often filled with the aroma of something simmering on the stove and the steady, abiding warmth of her love for her family.

Though she had no children of her own, Michelle poured her heart into being a devoted aunt. Her nieces and nephews could always count on her for encouragement, humor, and unwavering support. She spent her final days in the company of her closest friend, Loria Cornwell, whose friendship was a cherished constant in her life.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Glenda JeuDevine; and her brothers Michael, Thomas, Timothy, and Robert.

She is survived by her brother Hal; her sister Stephani; her nieces Melissa, Lindsay, Rachel, Alison, Amanda, Haley, and Shaylee; and her nephews Douglas, Steven, and Anthony. She is also survived by her best friend, Loria Cornwell, and by Loria's family, Johnny, Julien, Natasha, Reagan, Ella, Katie, Dustin, Parker, and Axton, who held a special place in Michelle's heart.

Honoring her wishes, Michelle will not have a traditional funeral. Instead, her niece Melissa and her dear friend Loria will host a celebration of her life in the spring—when those who loved her can gather to remember her warmth, humor, and spirit.

Michelle will be profoundly missed.
