Leslie Brian Simmons

December 1, 1972 — June 4, 2026

Scottsville, Kentucky

Leslie Brian Simmons, 53, of Scottsville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on December 1, 1972, Leslie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He spent much of his life doing what he loved most – driving semi trucks and working on them as a diesel mechanic. His strong work ethic, mechanical skills, and love for the trucking industry were known by everyone who knew him.

For 30 years Leslie shared a loving marriage with his wife Delta. Of all of his accomplishments, his greatest source of pride was his family. Leslie is survived by his wife, Delta Simmons; his sons, Caleb Cosby and Cole Simmons; his daughter, Katie Simmons; and his beloved granddaughter, Lainey Cosby. He is also survived by his brother, Lee Simmons and wife Julie; his sister, Lisa Napier and husband Tim; his sister-in-laws Chanda Marcrum and husband Wesley; Martina Pearson and husband Brad; Brandy Scruggs and husband Chris and Barbara Hall and husband Brandon, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Simmons and mother, Martha Simmons and his mother-in-law, Kathy Gillock.

Anyone who knew Leslie knew he could make them laugh. He had a sharp sense of humor with a touch of sarcasm. His laughter, stories and quick wit will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Leslie’s legacy is not found in the miles he drove or the engines he repaired at Park’s Trucking for 20 years, but in the family he cherished and the lives he touched.

Recently, Leslie rededicated his life to Christ and attended the Scottsville Church of Christ.

He will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Visitation for Leslie will be Sunday June 7 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home and continuing Monday at 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
