Lamira Testerman

Lamira Taylor Testerman, 73, of Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday, December 3. She was a native of Scottsville, Kentucky. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Chuck Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.

Lamira was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille Taylor, and her brother, Wesley Taylor.

Lamira is survived by her loving husband, Mikel Testerman. She is also survived by her sons: Kelly Mikel Testerman, and wife Machell of Cherokee; and Scott Taylor Testerman, and wife Lisa of Iuka; brother, Preston Taylor, and wife Hope and family, of Ecuador; sisters Judy Cross, and husband David and family, and Barbara Newman and family, all of Scottsville, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Jordan Testerman of Cherokee, Kenneth Mikel Scott Testerman and Skylar Dean Testerman of Iuka.
