Joy Livesay

Joy Douglas Livesay, age 92, died Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the Medical Center of Scottsville in Scottsville, Kentucky.

She was a member of Dover Missionary Baptist Church. Joy worked for many years at Washington Overall Manufacturing and served the community as a seamstress as well.

Joy was born November 2, 1933 in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Ervin Douglas and Delia Tracey Douglas. She is also preceded in death by Don Livesay, her husband of over 50 years.

She is survived by her son Brent Livesay (Julie) and two grandchildren, Erik Livesay and Melissa Livesay.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 11 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Dover Missionary Baptist Church.
