J D Harvill, age 91, died Tuesday December 9, 2014 at his residence.

The Simpson County native was the husband of the late Maxine Walker Harvill. He is preceded in death by his parents Steve Harvill and Oma Francis Cummings Harvill Powell, one sister Margaret Graves and one nephew Stacey Lynn Graves. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, businessman and farmer.

He is survived by special friends Jimmie, Gail, Angie and Callie, seven nieces Wynona Ferguson, Shirley Hayden, Barbara Staggs, Pamela McKenzie, Johnna Wilson, Tracy Eppolito, Linda Melloan and three nephews Jody Walker, Billy Walker, Danny Walker several cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4:00PM Thursday December 11, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Friday December 12, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
