Harold C. Ayers

September 3, 1930 – May 2, 2022

On Monday May 2nd, 2022, the Ayers family lost their hero.  Harold C. Ayers was called home at age 91 to join his wife, Mary Lou. The world has lost a wonderful grandfather, uncle, father and leader.

Harold was born in Allen Springs, Kentucky, on September 3rd, 1930.  He was a man of substance, character, patience and fair play.  Harold worked at a utility company, where he worked his way up through the ranks from laborer, certified welder, to crew leader.  Although his education didn’t exceed high school, he was known to solve any and all problems that he confronted.  He was an avid and gifted golfer and fisherman.

Harold is survived by his two sons, Michael “Mike” Ayers and Kenneth “Kenny” Ayer and four grandchildren; Nikki, Betsy, Nicholas and Kelsey.

Visitation will be Saturday May 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday May 14, 2022 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Union Baptist Cemetery in Scottsville, KY.
