Evelyn Marie King Absher

January 26, 1926 – December 27, 2020

Evelyn Marie King Absher, age 94, died Sunday December 27, 2020 at the Cal Turner Specialty Care and Rehab.

The Allen County native was the daughter to the late Benjamin Harrison King and Nealie Florence Witcher King. She is preceded in death by her husband James Edward Absher and five siblings, Gladys King, Clara Wygal, Perna Mae King, William King and Doug King. Mrs. Absher was a life time member of Scottsville Baptist Church.

A loving momma and meme, she is survived by her daughter Peggy Mitchell (Danny) of Scottsville, her son Mike Absher (Kathy) of Scottsville, her sister Edith "Chunnie" Simmons of Scottsville, her five grandchildren, Holly Blackwell (Brad), Lori Ozburn (Tom), Tara Towe (Nickie), Lindsey Stuart (Issac), and Jordan Absher, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 30, 2020 at T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Allen County Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to the Scottsville Baptist Church.
