Elmer Leonard Birge, age 70, died Sunday January 8, 2017 at his residence in Brownsville KY.

The Danville Il native was the son of the late Paul Hughie Birge and Mary Edith Crumpton Birge. He is preceded in death by one brother Richard Birge and one nephew Jeremy Birge He was a member of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by a special friend Frances Vincent of Brownsville, KY, two sisters Norma Draper and husband Herman of Adolphus, KY, Evelyn Birge Horne of Scottsville, KY two brothers Larry Birge and wife Mary of Scottsville, KY and Daryl Birge and wife Mary of Scottsville, KY, eight nieces and nine nephews.

Visitation will begin 10:00 AM Wednesday January 11, 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home in Scottsville KY.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 12, 2017 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Allen County Memorial Gardens.
