Billy Ray Pardue
July 21, 1942 – September 13, 2020
Billy Ray Pardue, age 78, died Sunday September 13, 2020 at the Cal Turner Specialty Care.
Born and raised in Allen County, Ky., he was the son of the late Sterling H. Pardue and Adelene Frances Cooper Emery and preceded in death by his wife Ruby Jewell Garmon Pardue and his brother Kenneth Pardue. A member of the Scottsville First General Baptist Church, he was a deacon and song leader for many years. Mr. Pardue worked for Scottscraft/Kirsch for over thirty years and then for the Allen County-Scottsville High School for fifteen. Many remember him singing in the Gospel Crusaders Quartet.
He is survived by his daughter Tracy Pardue Roark (Kirk), son Kevin Pardue (Kristi), four grandchildren Katelyn Pardue, Kelsi Pardue, Ryan Roark (Chandra) and Jordan Beth Hayes (Phillip), and one great grandson Jaxson Hayes, two brothers, Lawayne Pardue and Hillus Pardue (Alice) all of Scottsville, and several half siblings, Jeff, Larry, Shelia, Tony, Tonya and Sandy.
Visitation will be Wednesday September 16, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday September 17, 2020 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial to following the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
