Berneda Frances Kirby Hughes, age 94, died Monday July 14, 2014 at the Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care in Scottsville, KY.

The Allen County native was the wife of the late E. M. (Red) Hughes and the daughter of the late William Kirby and Cora Knight Kirby. She was preceded in death by daughters Elizabeth Mae Murray and Martha Baker. She was a member of Hickory Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter Neva Sue Stamps Bowling Green KY, one son Estle R. Hughes and wife Irene of Bowling Green KY, thirteen grandchildren Gail Doss, Mellanie Cornett, Marquerite Quinlan, Cynthia Browning and husband Rallon, Kimberly Tomes and husband Rob, Kevin Hughes and wife Cynthia, Keith Hughes and wife Cheryl, Robert Brownfield and wife Mary, Jason Murray and wife Tyra, Michael Brownfield and wife Kim, Rickey Murray, Timmy Murray and wife Laura, Jared Murray and wife Aubrey, twenty five great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday July 16, 2014  and until service time on Thursday July 17, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday July 17, 2014 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hickory Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery
