Barbara Ann Gibbs Mays

Barbara Ann Gibbs Mays, age 69, died Thursday December 15, 2016 at her home in Scottsville, Ky.

The Allen County native was the daughter of the late Buford Loyce Gibbs and Jimmie Seay Downing Gibbs.  A member of the Scottsville Baptist Church, she served on the bereavement meal committee and the deacon’s wife’s ministry.   She was a retiree of Tri-County Electric and served her community with many years service to the Chamber of Commerce and Heart of Scottsville.

Surviving her is her husband Kenneth R. Mays, two daughters, Kellie Stinson and husband Frank, and Kori Thomas and husband Micah, all of Scottsville, one son, Kyle Mays and wife Sabrina of Lebanon, OR, five grandchildren, Kolby White and husband Ben, Kacy Stinson, Riley Stinson, Aria Mays, and Korbin Thomas, her brother, Bruce Gibbs and wife Connie, of Scottsville, one niece, Susan Flanary and husband Brian, of Hendersonville, TN, one nephew, Brian Gibbs and wife Tracy, of Brentwood, TN, and four great nieces.

Visitation will begin Monday 12:00 Noon December 19, 2016 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday December 20, 2016 at the T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Durham Springs Church Cemetery.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Scottsville Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Kentucky
