Anna Jean Hurt Cooksey age 83, died Tuesday May 3, 2016 at the Hospice of Southern KY in Bowling Green KY.
The Allen County native was the wife of the late Jimmy Cooksey and the daughter of the late Mar Sellus Hurt and Lottie May Stone Hurt. Two brothers William Douglas Hurt and James Harold Hurt and one sister Thelma Christine Hurt Powell preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green.
She is survived by her son, Don Cooksey, of Bowling Green KY., her brother, Billy Hurt, of Scottsville, KY, and sister Libby Flowers, of Glasgow, KY.
Visitation will begin 4:30 PM Thursday May 5, 2016 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM Thursday May 5, 2016 at the T.W. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky and Center for Courageous Kids.
